The Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia, I.P. (FCT) through its Scientific Computing Unit (FCCN) strives to implement the recommendations from the European Commission, and similarly incorporate the best practices in Open Science and compliance with the FAIR Data Principles in its community's scientific processes.
FCT aims to create a Digital Repository service that will focus on the storage and preservation of research data from multiple scientific domains. This service aims to serve both the academic and research comunities, namely its researchers and other interested stakeholders on a national level.
This communication's goal is to report on the ongoing effort by the Research Data Management team at the Scientific Knowledge Area of FCCN, to create a research data Digital Repository Service based on the Dataverse software.
