Afirmação da ética e integridade na Ciência Aberta
Keywords:

In this work, we propose that the concept of ethics and integrity be related to its essence and function, not only as an antonym of misconduct, as the subject is usually treated. We understand that this is a misunderstanding that reduces ethics and integrity. We propose that ethics be understood as the science of furniture, which, from a philosophical perspective, means its connection to the norms that humans must obey. Still, from a philosophy perspective, we emphasize that ethics and integrity are related to franco-speech or parrhesia, a Foucauldian term that refers to the experience of truth and care for oneself and for others. We conclude that ethics and integrity in Open Science must be configured as an experience of parrhesia, that is, an experience of truth in scientific knowledge and we propose a tripod formed by open science — ethics and integrity — parrhesia.
